Well its almost upon us and its been an eventful year. One roof finished (well almost), Shapinsay moving closer to owning a Community Wind Turbine, The credit crunch, Woolworths closure, Flying penguins, New American President, the closure of the old IB and a whole heap of other memorable moments.

Phew What a day
Just returned from the annual Shapinsay Lunch Club Christmas Dinner.
The day nearly got off to a disasterous start!!! No Heat at the Community Centre and with the prospect of 30 people mostly senior citizens there was a possibility that the event might have to be called off.
